Gastritis pain reliever

If you need a pain reliever for gastritis, ask your doctor to prescribe a nonirritating alternative to aspirin or other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). For gastritis caused by H. pylon, the doctor may prescribe antibiotics. Antacids can sometimes soothe the irritation until the inflammation subsides.

Diet for gastritis

Consume regular meals with a balance of starchy foods, fruits, vegetables, and low-fat protein.
Avoid fatty foods, tomato-based products, chocolate, alcohol, caffeine, and peppermint, which can cause acid reflux.  Spicy foods if they irritate you. Frequent use of aspirin or other arthritis pain relievers.
